PCI’s GOAL

Increase their reach to a younger and more diverse audience.

Simplified their event registration flow with a new design for younger audiences, introduced a Deep Dive course, and created ways to track audience engagement, helping PCI close the loop between awareness and learning.

We conducted user interviews and a co-creation workshop with PCI members, educators, and learners to uncover shared challenges and motivations, insights that guided our design decisions.

Redesigned the Resilience.org homepage to better engage younger audiences

KEY SOLUTIONS

Resilience.org, one of PCI’s most active platforms, attracts audiences seeking content on climate, sustainability, and resilience. We refined the homepage to improve content discovery, event visibility, and overall engagement for its core audience.

The previous flow required users to log in before registering, which added friction. The new design simplified the process, allowing users to register seamlessly in fewer steps.

Introduced pre- and post-event surveys to close the engagement loop

To measure engagement and impact, we introduced surveys before and after each event. This helped PCI gather feedback, capture participant reflections, and connect event experiences back to the Resilience community.

Designed My Climate Journey as a self-guided learning experience to help people reflect on their connection to climate impact and discover meaningful ways to contribute. The Resilience+ dashboard includes sections like community forums and registered events, creating a personalized experience for each member.
